What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring a valid ID, your insurance card, and any relevant medical records or medication lists to your first appointment.
What payment options do you offer for services not covered by insurance?
We have financing options available through Care Credit. We can assist you in enrollment when you are here or over the phone. We find patients are very pleased with Care Credit, especially their 0% interest option for 12 months. We also accept credit cards.
How does your office help alleviate anxiety in fearful patients?
Many people just need compassionate coaching and encouragement. Our staff is skilled at supporting people through the anxieties that sometimes accompany dental work. Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) also greatly helps to alleviate anxiety. However, the most predictable means for overcoming anxiety is with sedation dentistry. Our sedation regimes are safe and effective and provide patients with a positive experience. Sedation treatment does require patients to be accompanied by someone for the remainder of the day.
Does your office provide cosmetic procedures?
We provide our patients with smile makeovers primarily through in-office whitening and porcelain veneers. We accomplish tooth whitening with very predictable results by performing the procedure in the office. However, tooth whitening is not permanent whitening. Permanent whitening is done with veneers and crowns made of state-of-the-art ceramic materials.
How often should I visit the dentist?
We recommend visiting the dentist for a check-up and cleaning at least twice a year. Patients with specific dental issues may need to come in more frequently.
What can I do to improve my dental health?
Regular brushing twice a day, flossing daily, eating a balanced diet, and avoiding tobacco products are key to maintaining good dental health. Regular dental check-ups are also crucial.
What measures do you take to ensure patient safety and sanitation?
Our practice follows strict sterilization and infection control protocols recommended by leading dental associations. This includes the use of PPE, sterilization of instruments, and disinfection of surfaces between each patient. Additionally, our office is equipped with a Surgically Clean Air filtration/air sterilization system.
